Large scale removal project at an Oldham housing estate

We are currently involved in a large demolition project at a housing estate in Oldham.

The contract is part of the regeneration of Oldham by the Government called the Oldham Private Finance Initiative (PFI) project. We have undertaken the survey to the properties and are conducting the removal of asbestos.

Managing Director of Reddish Vale, Roy Tindall says the removal is extensive work, 'The estate is made up of a lot of properties, particularly flats, built in the 1960's which is when asbestos use was at its peak. All flats contain asbestos to some degree and so this project is proving a big job for us.'

We are working with a demolition contractor and the main contractor, to ensure that local residents still in the area are not affected.
